Amsterdam police have arrested two young women for robbing older men whom they met through a dating website, the Telegraaf said on Thursday.

The investigation shows that the women helped robbed several men after meeting them online via dating site Badoo but only one victim has as yet come forward.

The women, aged 19 and 21, approached older men on the site and arranged to meet them for a date. During the meeting, the men were robbed by one or more other men. One man has also been arrested in connection with the investigation, the Telegraaf said.

The robberies took place at a variety of different locations, the paper said.

Police are now appealing for more victims to come forward. They have done nothing wrong and their complaints will be handled very discreetly, a spokesman told the paper.
