A few centimetres of snow hit the east of the Netherlands
Several centimetres of snow fell in eastern parts of the Netherlands from Drenthe to Limburg on Sunday night and the KNMI weather bureau has issued a code yellow weather warning for most of the country because of the slippery conditions on some roads.
The snow is expected to disappear during Monday because the temperature is set to climb to around five degrees.
The KNMI said the weather will remain mixed this week, with sunny spells and some showers. At night, the temperature will drop to below zero in some places.
