The warm, sunny weather is set to continue well into next week, weather forecasters said on Thursday.

Temperatures are likely to be as high as 25 degrees until next Thursday at least, weather bureau Weerplaza said. Today, the temperature could be as high as 29 degrees in places.

There may be some rain on Sunday, but that is likely to be short-lived, the KNMI weather bureau said in its latest forecast. The continuing summer weather is due to an area of high pressure over central Europe.
