Cyclist Anna van der Breggen has picked up her second medal at the Rio Olympics, adding a time trial bronze to her road race gold.

The race was won by Kristin Armstrong of the US, who took the title for the third Olympics in a row, at the age of 43. Dutch woman Ellen van Dijk was fourth.

Earlier, Anicka van Emden became the Netherlands’ second medal winner of the Rio Olympics, with a judo bronze.

Van der Breggen won the first Dutch gold of the games on Sunday in the road race.

Tom Dumoulin is in action for the Netherlands in the men’s time trial later on Wednesday. Swimmer Ranomi Kromowidjojo also begins her Olympic campaign.
