Dutch economic growth continues: strongest rise in 12 months
The Dutch economy grew by 0.5% in the first three months of 2016, compared with the previous quarter, the national statistics office CBS said on Friday.
This is the strongest growth of the past 12 months, the CBS said. Compared with the first quarter of 2015, the economy has grown 1.4%.
The economy has been boosted by a wide range of developments, including increasing consumer spending, corporate investments and exports, the CBS said.
The economy has now been growing for eight successive quarters.
