Three Dutch nationals missing in Brussels, all were at the airport
A third Dutch national is missing in Brussels in the wake of Tuesday’s bombings, according to local paper Tubantia.
The 41-year-old woman from Deventer was supposed to fly out to the US on Tuesday morning but has not been heard from since the explosions at Zaventem airport, the paper says.
Elita Weah was said to be travelling to the US for a family funeral. Her two brothers are known to have gone to Brussels on Tuesday in an effort to find her.
A brother and sister from a Dutch family based in the US are also on the missing list. Sascha and Alexander Pinczowski were reportedly on the phone to relatives to let them know they had checked in to Zaventem airport when the two bombs exploded and the line went dead.
At least 31 people were killed in the blasts and some 300 injured.
