Snow and ice lead to slippery Friday rush hour roads
Motorists in much of the country have been warned to watch out for slippery conditions during Friday’s rush hour following overnight snow and frost.
Gritting lorries have been out in force to keep the roads clear, particularly in Noord-Holland, Friesland, Flevoland, Overijssel, Drenthe and Limburg. The A6, A&, A28 and A32 are particularly affected, the VID traffic information service said.
It will remain dry for much of Friday but will remain cold and snow or sleet will return later, the KNMI weather bureau said.
