Amsterdam football club Ajax on Thursday became the third of the three Dutch clubs competing in the Europa League to be eliminated, after a 1-1 draw against Molde of Norway.
FC Groningen, who had already been ruled out of the knock-out round, drew 0-0 against Sporting Braga. AZ of Alkmaar drew 2-2 against Spanish side Athletic and finished bottom of Group L.
Earlier this week, PSV Eindhoven qualified for the round of 16 of the Champions League, making them the only Dutch club still in European competition. The draw takes place on Monday.
Their potential opponents are Real Madrid, Atlético, Manchester City, Barcelona, Bayern, Chelsea and Zenit.
