Dutch teenagers stabbed in Malta, one seriously injured
A Dutch teenager has been very seriously injured after being stabbed in the stomach on the island of Malta, according to local media reports.
The 18-year-old is one of six people hospitalised after the incident in the early hours of Sunday morning in Paceville. According to one report, the stabbing followed an ‘argument’.
The Dutch youth, who is 18, is suffering from ‘critical injuries’, local media said. Two other Dutch youths, aged 18 and 19, two Libyans aged 31 and 38 and a Maltese man were also taken to hospital.
A 20-year-old Libyan national has been arrested by police.
