Summer returned to the Netherlands on Wednesday after a day of heavy rain, and forecasters say the high temperatures will continue into next week.
On Wednesday the temperatures soared up to 28 degrees in the south of the country and could reach as high as 33 degrees on Thursday, weeronline.nl said.
There may be some thunderstorms on Thursday evening and Friday but the sun will be out again at the weekend.
According to the KNMI weather bureau, there is a good chance the sunshine will continue past the middle of next week, although it may be slightly cooler than at the weekend.
