Amsterdam football club Ajax will meet SK Rapid Wien of Austria in the third qualifying round for next season’s Champions League competition.
The first leg will take place at the end of July in Vienna, with the second leg in the Netherlands in the first week of August. The draw took place in Switzerland on Friday.
PSV Eindhoven qualified automatically for the competition as Dutch Eredivisie winners.
Rapid Wien was second in the Austrian premier league last season behind FC Salzburg and the two sides have never met before.
Rapid Wien has played PSV eight times and Feyenoord twice, winning three of the 10 matches.
In the draw for the third qualifying round of the Europa League, Arnhem side Vitesse has drawn Southampton, now coached by Dutchman Ronald Koeman. Koeman was Vitesse’s coach in 2000.
AZ of Alkmaar will meet Turkish side Başakşehir. Groningen, as winner of the KNVB Cup, automatically qualified for the Europa League group stage.
