Saturday temperature to soar up to 37 degrees in south
There is a very real chance the temperature could soar to as high as 37 degrees on Saturday, weather forecasters say on Tuesday.
With the temperature set to top 30 degrees from Wednesday, in the south and east it is likely to reach 36 or 37 degrees on Saturday, Weerplaza weatherman Marco Verhoef told website nu.nl.
‘I would say there is a very realistic chance,’ Verhoef said. ‘However, we are looking a few days ahead so it remains a forecast.’
The highest temperature ever recorded in the Netherlands was 38.6 degrees in Warnsveld, near Zuphten on August 23, 1944.
