Oranje women lose second World Cup game to China

2015_FIFA_Women's_World_Cup_logo.svgThe Dutch women’s football team lost their second group A match at the ongoing World Cup to China in the late stages of the game.

China beat Oranje 1-0, the same margin as the Dutch team’s earlier win over New Zealand.

The Dutch women were without regular keeper Loes Geurts who was out through injury and substitute Sari van Veenendaal made some impressive saves, broadcaster Nos reports.

In the other group A match, Canada and New Zealand drew 0-0.

Oranje take on hosts and group A leaders Canada in their final match of the group stage this weekend.
