Talks on civil service pay deal collapse, again
Talks between civil service unions and government minister Stef Blok have broken down without result.
The unions say they see no point in continuing the negotiations because Blok is unwilling to meet their demands.
National government civil servants have been without a pay and conditions agreement since January 2011 and have not had any form of pay rise in that time.
The union wants a 3% pay rise and compensation for the period that civil servants have been without a current wage agreement.
