Eindhoven club Oranje Zwart wins European hockey league
Eindhoven hockey club Oranje Zwart won the seventh edition of the European Hockey League on penalty shoot-outs on Sunday.
The final against German side UHC Hamburg ended 1-1 and then went to 11 shoot-out rounds to determine the eventual winner.
A penalty shoot-out involves a running face-off between the penalty taker and the goal-keeper. Bob de Voogd scored the winner for the Dutch club.
