Rotterdam soft drink maker Refresco Gerber plans to launch on the stock exchange to finance its further growth, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
Refresco Gerber will issue new shares alongside the sale of shares owned by its current investors. These include private equity house 3i, a group of Icelandic investors, the current management team and the British family which owns the Gerber arm, which merged with Refresco in 2013.
Refresco said the launch date will depend on market conditions and no information about possible share prices has yet been published, the Financieele Dagblad says.
The company, which was formed in 1999, booked turnover in the region of €2bn last year and operates 27 factories in nine countries. As well as soft drinks and fizzy drinks it produces fruit and vegetable juices.
