A new born baby girl has been found abandoned in Breda. The baby was discovered in a black bag between two cars when passersby heard her cries. They alerted the emergency services.

The baby is just a couple of days old and has been taken to hospital for checks. She will then be handed over to child services. Police are urging the mother to come forward.

At the end of December a dead baby was found in a garbage bag at a block of flats in the city. His mother, said to be a teenager, has since been arrested.
