Rabobank cash machines left empty as Brink’s strike impact grows
The strike by drivers at money transport company Brink’s means almost 20% of Rabobank cashpoint machines are now empty, the NRC says on Tuesday.
So far, 415 out of 2,300 ATMs are out of cash, Rabobank has confirmed.
Judges will rule later on Tuesday if the strike, which began on Saturday, can continue. Workers are protesting at the decision to cut 600 out of 1,000 jobs at the company following the loss of the Rabobank cash delivery contract from next year.
