A thief in Arnhem made off with a white Renault van belonging to a dog walking service – with 15 dogs inside – on Tuesday morning.

The van was stolen as the owner of Paddy’s dog walking service delivered one pet back to its owners. ‘The thief jumped into the van in front of my nose and drove off,’ company owner Chantal Scholten told website nu.nl.

Scholten got in touch with dogs homes and the police across the region to find out if the animals have been dumped anywhere.

The van, complete with dogs, was found in nearly Oosterbeek on Tuesday afternoon.
