Amsterdam police arrest gun trader in gangland killing probe
A man has been arrested in Amsterdam for trading in illegal guns, said to be connected to a string of gangland killings in the Dutch capital.
A number of weapons were seized during the search of the suspect’s house in the past week, police chief Pieter-Jaap Aalbersberg told local broadcaster AT5.
At least 10 people have died in gang-related killings in Amsterdam over the past two years. One innocent bystander was killed and two others injured in the shootings, the latest of which took place two weeks ago.
