Dutch women sweep the board in 1,500m speed skating

Jorien ter Mors on Sunday took gold in the 1,500m women’s speed skating, beating fellow Dutch woman and defending champion Ireen Wüst into second place.

Bronze went to Lotte van Beek, completing the Oranje podium, and Marrit Leenstra was fourth.

It is the third time all three medals in the speed skating have been won by the Dutch this Olympics. The men earlier swept the board in the 5,000m and 500m.
