Ajax loses 0-3 to Salzburg but AZ wins in Europa League
Ajax’s chances of remaining in the Europa League took a severe knock on Thursday when the Amsterdammers lost 0-3 at home to FC Salzburg.

The other Dutch Europa League side Alkmaar club AZ had better fortune. Dick Advocaat’s team beat Czech side FC Slovan Liberec 1-0 after scoring in the dying minutes of the game. Match report
