The Telegraaf to ditch broadsheet format, go tabloid

The Netherlands’ last national broadsheet newspaper, De Telegraaf, is switching to the smaller tabloid format later this year.

The paper, known for its giant headlines, is the biggest circulation newspaper in the Netherlands and sells some 500,000 copies a day.

The paper is also planning to re-introduce a Sunday paper but in digital format only.
