Cable firm Ziggo boosts profit 80%

Cable company Ziggo booked net profit of €347m last year, an 80% rise on 2012.

More clients have taken out three-in-one subscriptions for television, internet and phone, which has helped boost turnover, the company said.

However, the number of people paying for extra television services fell 6% over the year.
