Mail order firm Wehkamp is planning to build a €100m distribution centre which it claims will be the biggest for online shopping in the world.
The centre is due to be completed in 2015 and will replace the company’s current distribution firm in Dedemsvaart, about 30 minutes drive away. The 200 staff will be asked to move to the new location.
The new automated logistics centre will be able to process 80,000 items a day, news agency ANP said.
