A 2-0 away win in Andorra has given the Dutch football team a ticket to next year’s World Cup in Brazil with two qualification rounds still to go.
Turkey’s 2-0 over Romania sealed Oranje’s place in the event with an unassailable 22 points.
The match, watched by 850 people, was poor and the Netherlands did not score until the second half when captain Robin van Persie made both goals. Andorra is 205th in the Fifa rankings.
The competition for second place in Group D is intense, with Hungary on 14 points and Turkey and Romania both on 13.
