Amsterdam Schiphol airport expects Friday to be the busiest day of the year with around 180,000 travellers passing through its doors.
According to a spokesman, check-ins and passport and security controls will be fully manned to keep queues to a minimum and cleaning teams will be up to strength to keep things spick and span.
The airport is also providing entertainers to keep queuing passengers happy.
