PSV Eindhoven will play Belgian side Zulte Waregem in the third preliminary round of the coming season’s Champions League competition.
PSV, which finished second in the Dutch premier league, will play the first leg at home on July 30 or 31. The away leg will take place on August 6 or 7.
Zulte Waregem also finished second in the Belgian premier league, the club’s best ever performance.
If PSV win, they will move into the play-offs – the last hurdle before the group competition. Amsterdam’s Ajax, as premier league winners last year, automatically qualify for the prestige event.
