Amusement park staff threaten action over Sunday bonuses
Management at the Efteling amusement park are planning to go to court to find out if some 200 workers have the right to a bonus for working on Sunday.
The company wants to scrap the Sunday bonuses, and workers say this will cost them between €75 and €300 a month. They are threatening to take legal action, news agency ANP says.
Last month, a court in Breda said the workers have no claim to the bonus in their current collective pay agreement. But the unions say workers may be entitled to the bonus on an individual basis.
The company now plans to test this theory in court.
