Dutch international Leroy Fer will not now be moving to English football club Everton after problems arose during his medical.
The £8.6m deal was agreed with FC Twente earlier this week, but issues emerged with the transfer after the player arrived in England and had a medical, Sky reports.
According to the Guardian, the problem revolves around the 22-year-old’s expected recovery from a knee injury.
