Dutch energy company Eneco and the Japanese Mitsubishi Corporation have agreed a partnership to develop wind turbine parks in the North Sea.
Mitsubishi will invest €225m in return for a 50% stake in the project, according to a statement from Eneco.
The deal also includes an agreement between the two companies to work together on other offshore wind energy projects in Europe.
