Rabobank has three offers for asset manager Robeco

Three companies have put in bids to take over Rabobank’s asset manager Robeco, news agency Reuters reported on Wednesday citing sources close to the negotiations.

Reuters says two American consortia and Japanese firm Orix have said they want to take over Robeco which was put up for sale earlier this year.
One consortium made up of Advent International and CVC want to buy the entire Robeco operation as does Orix, Reuters says. But the other group, an alliance between asset manager AMG and Permira want to split up the company.
Reuters says the sale could generate as much as €3bn for Rabobank.
