Election: 43% have not decided who to vote for

With five days to go before the Netherlands elects a new 150-seat parliament, some 43% of voters have still not made up their mind who to vote for, according to an Ipsos Synovate poll, quoted by Nos television.

This is virtually unchanged from the start of the campaign, showing that televised debates, advertising and other efforts have had little effect on floating voters, the polling organisation said.
Men and youngsters are more likely to remain undecided about their voting intentions.
Ipsos Synovate suggests the large number of televised debates and media appearances may even have led more people to doubt their choices. In addition, the differences between party programmes have become smaller.
