Some 35% of workers are still in touch with the office during their holidays and 7% of the total have regular contact, according to online research by ING quoted in the Telegraaf.

Some 60,000 people took part in the poll.
The research also showed 79% of workers would not be prepared to take a pay cut to have more holiday and 67% would not cut their holiday entitlement to get more pay.
Dutch workers have a statutory 20 days holiday plus public holidays but this is often increased though shorter working week schemes (ATV).
