Just 18% are positive about bank bosses’ integrity
Public confidence in banks and insurance companies shows no signs of recovery, according to the central bank’s latest annual survey of consumer attitudes to the financial services sector.
Just 36% of those polled think financial service sector executives are expert at their jobs and only 18% are positive about their integrity.
But while 78% say they are confident in their own bank, up slightly on a year ago, only 55% of people have faith in their pension fund, down seven percentage points on 2011.
