The Dutch budget deficit reached 4.7% last year, slightly lower than previous estimates, the national statistics office CBS said on Friday.
This means the Dutch deficit was above the eurozone monetary union limit of 3% for three years, the CBS said.
The three coalition partners are currently in talks to find at least €9bn in new money and savings in order to cut the deficit to the EU-agreed level in 2013.
