Violinist André Rieu is one of highest earning performers
Dutch violinist André Rieu is one of the top-earning musicians from performing in 2011, according to American music magazine Pollstar.
Rieu’s 97 performances in 74 cities last year earned him $63.5m, putting him in 15th place, one place behind Lady Gaga, Pollstar says.
Irish rock bank U2 tops the list with earnings of nearly $232m.
