The organisation wants to know how many patients have cancelled the treatment because they cannot afford to pay for it themselves, reports Trouw.
There are about 2.3 million people with rheumatism or arthritis in the Netherlands and the organisation says around 44% are on a maximum monthly wage of €1,700.
Several forms of treatment for rheumatism were scrapped from the basic health package at the beginning of 2012, including intensive physiotherapy.
