More problems with ING internet banking
ING’s internet banking services were again having technical problems on Wednesday, giving customers limited access to their accounts.
The bank has been hit by problems with its internet services since Sunday. And temporary adjustments in an effort to resolve the issues mean that only limited numbers of clients can bank at the same time, the Telegraaf reports.
The bank says it hopes to solve the problems on Wednesday. ‘We are incredibly embarrassed. This is not the sort of service you expect from ING,’ a spokesman told the paper.
Online retailers are planning to make a formal complaint to the bank. ‘It is costing several million euros every time the system is down,’ spokesman Wijnand Jongen told the paper. ‘The only problem is, we cannot recover these losses from the bank.’
