Prime minister voted politician of the year by parliamentary press
Prime minister Mark Rutte has been voted politician of the year by members of the parliamentary press corps for the second year running.
Second is Socialist party leader Emile Roemer, while home affairs minister Henk Kamp (VVD) is third.
Political talent of the year was named as Carola Schouten, from the Christian party ChristenUnie.
Another poll, carried out by Maurice de Hond among several thousand voters also put Rutte on top with 22% of the vote, followed very closely by Roemer on 21%.
The De Hond poll also put Labour leader Job Cohen top of the poll of worst politicians, with 22% of the vote.
