MPs are opposed to ending Monday postal deliveries

A large majority of MPs are opposed to plans by PostNL to stop delivering post on Monday, news agency ANP reports on Wednesday.

MPs were debating the plan with junior economic affairs minister Henk Bleker who has to approve the change. At the moment, PostNL is required by law to deliver post six days a week.
The debate was interrupted several times by protesting postal delivery workers and eventually ran out of time. The debate will continue in January.
