The cup match between Ajax of Amsterdam and Alkmaar’s AZ, disrupted when an Ajax fan tried to attack AZ’s keeper, is to be played again without supporters on January 19, the football association said on Wednesday.

The match was abandoned in the 37th minute with Ajax 1-0 ahead after the fan ran across the pitch and hurled himself at the keeper.
The fan had been banned from the stadium for earlier offences and Ajax faces a €10,000 fine for not doing enough to prevent the incident occurring.
