Zeeland has lowest jobless figure in the EU
The Dutch province of Zeeland had the lowest unemployment rate in the EU last year, at just 2.7%, RTL news reported on Friday, quoting figures from European statistics office Eurostat.
Zeeland was in joint first place with Italian region Bolzano.
Utrecht was the second Dutch province in the top 10, in seventh place with an unemployment rate of 3.7%.
The Dutch jobless total is currently around 5.8% and expected to rise in the coming months.
