Stolen Dutch masters returned to museum
Two Dutch masters stolen from a museum in Leerdam in May have been found and returned, say press reports on Thursday.
The paintings, by Frans Hals and Jacob van Ruisdael, were stolen during the night. One of the frames was found shortly afterwards in a hedge nearby.
Four men have been arrested on charges of receiving stolen goods, money laundering and involvement in robbery.
The police would not give details of how they found the paintings.
