Dutch US relationship creates 625,000 American jobs
The economic relationship between the Netherlands and the United States already provides close to 625,000 American jobs and there is great potential for further growth, according to a new report on trade between the two countries.
The report will be presented by prime minister Mark Rutte to US president Barack Obama during Rutte’s visit to the White House on Tuesday, according to a Dutch embassy press release.
The report says that despite a sluggish global economy, investment from and trade with the Netherlands continue to produce solid results for both countries. The Netherlands is the third largest investor in the US and one of its largest export partners.
