Some 2,000 people took part in demonstrations in Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht on Saturday as part of the fast-growing Occupy movement.

In the capital, some 1,000 people gathered outside the former stock exchange while in The Hague, around 700 people joined in. Some of them are planning to spend the night on the Malieveld close to parliament, news agency ANP said.
There was also a small demonstration in Utrecht and Rotterdam.
The first Occupy protest, Occupy Wall Street, took place in New York on September 17. Since then it has spread to major cities all over the world.
According to international news agencies, there were Occupy protests in 82 cities on Saturday.
