Huge extacy haul found in Schiedam

Police dismantled a large extacy factory on Sunday, where a shed on an industrial estate in Schiedam was found to contain a machine capable of making 100,000 tablets an hour, say press reports.

Bags containing some 110,000 pills were also found, together with dozens of kilograms of raw material for extacy.
Extacy pills cost just €3 each in the Netherlands, but are much more expensive in other countries. The public prosecution office estimates the value of the haul at €1m.
The shed also contained 15,000 marijuana joints.
Two men have been arrested.
