Car papers to go plastic
Official car registration papers will from 2013 take the form of a plastic card, transport minister Melanie Schultz van Haegen said on Friday.
At the moment, car owners have two separate pieces of paper detailing the type of car, registration details and ownership.
Each plastic card will contain all this information plus a unique code to combat fraud and a microchip, the minister said.
