The competition authority NMa is to monitor the property financing sector because of concerns about cartel forming, the organisation said on Thursday.

Research by the SEO economic research bureau shows the risk of uncompetitive practices has increased because there are now fewer companies involved in property financing.
In particular, there were more foreign players active on the Dutch market than there are now the report showed.
