The Hague centre will close on Prinsjesdag

A large part of the centre of The Hague will be closed to traffic next Monday and Tuesday because of Prinsjesdag, the council announced on Monday.

Prinsjesdag, on the Tuesday, is the day on which the queen travels to parliament in a golden coach to deliver a speech outlining the government’s vision for the coming year and the finance minister delivers the annual budget.
The council says trams will be rerouted and a number of large parking garages will be closed.
